In this course, we will learn about why early childhood experiences are important and how they affect our learning and growth in life. We will talk about the different stages of growing up; from before we are born until we are adults. We will also see how what happens to us in the first 8 years of life can shape how we think, feel, and learn. We will look at how important it is for kids to have good experiences early on, both at home and in school. We will also talk about how kids growing up in different kinds of families can have different experiences, and why it is important for teachers to understand this when helping kids grow and learn.
